I have also been in Lesser India, which is a fine Kingdom. The capital is called Dily (1). In this country are many elephants, and animals called surnasa (for surnafa) (giraffe), which is like a stag, but is a tall animal and has a long neck, 4 fathoms (2) in length or longer.

(1) Dily: Deli in India

(2) fathoms: a unit of length equal to six feet (1.83 meters) used especially for measuring the depth of water.
