Ali Zayn al-Abidin ibn Husain (657-694) Sahifa al-kamilah (the oldest Shi'ite prayer manual) from Medina

-------------------------------------------------------------

Taken from: www.jafariyanews.comThe oldest Shi'ite prayer manual. Lists the 54 supplications recorded by Zayn al-'Abidin, great grandson of the Prophet Muhammad. We quote here part of 27th Dua Le Ah'lis Soghour -(Guardians of Frontiers) from Sahifah-e-Kamelah:

O Allah! Give triumph to the Muslims of every region in raids against the polytheists who face them, reinforce them with angels in ranks from You, till the polytheists are routed by them to the end of the land slaying them and taking them captive, or till they admit that You are Allah other than whom there is no god, You alone, who has no associate.

O Allah! In this massacre, take in Your enemies in the regions of the lands from the Indians, the Byzantines, the Turks, the Khazars (1), the Abyssinians, the Nubians, the Zanjis, the Slavs, the Daylamites (2), and the rest of the idol- worshipping people, those whose names and characteristics are hidden, but whom You encompass in Your knowledge and oversee through Your power.

(1) Khazars: Semi nomadic people from south Russia, south Ukraine, Crimea, Kazakhstan.

(2) Daylamites or Dailamites were an Iranian people inhabiting the Daylam—the mountainous regions of northern Iran on the southwest coast of the Caspian Sea.
